Ryan's 4th Birthday Construction Party

On Saturday was Ryan's party for all of his little friends. We had so much fun!
It was construction themed of course so we brought in a giant sand pile to dig in and we even had a backhoe parked on the drive way to play on. The kids thought that was so neat. I'm sure our neighbors loved us - the kids found the horn right away! haha! Good thing it was just a 2 hour party. :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RYAN!!!!!

YIKES IKE!

Well, IKE has come and gone. Wow! He sure did leave a big mess. We finally got power after it being out for about 8 days. There are still people without it! We rode the storm out at the conference center and then when it was apparent that we were not going to have any electricity for a while, I packed the kids up and off we went to Windy Hill. Poor Shawn had to stay behind and work. He stayed at the office though where power was restored. We all came home on Thurs to a stinky refrigerator and a big mess in the back yard. Things are starting to get back to normal though. Slowly cleaning up the mess and gearing up for Ryan's Birthday party on Sat! It will be fun! Here are some pics from the past week or so.

Staying Busy

Wow! We have been super busy. Between pre school gala (I'm doing the program this year), Junior League, planning 2 birthday parties, getting back into the school routine, etc... It never stops! I am going, going, going. This past week Ryan got to go to a construction site with Papacita. He loved it! Ryan is way into construction stuff these days. :) We also stopped and had a little bit of family time this weekend in the yard enjoying the great weather. I can't wait until it slows down a little bit in a month or two. :)
