Texas Bluebonnets

Every Texan child has to get their picture taken in the Texas Bluebonnets each year. Its a rule! Creekside Park in The Woodlands has beautiful bluebonnets this year. The kids just loved playing in them - it was hard to get them out of them! Enjoy!

Strawberry Fields Forever

We went strawberry picking on Good Friday with Aunt Penny, Uncle Alton, Blake & Ella. It was a great family day. Shawn was not too sure about it before we went, but ended up having a blast! Thats a man for ya! Blake was a pro at picking, Ryan actually "got it" and picked them this year, Ella ate more then she picked, and Kathleen got the hang of it by the end of the day. We had a great picnic lunch afterwards and then headed home for a nice long nap! Here a few shots! Enjoy!

Easter

Easter was such a fun time around our house. On Saturday we had a egg hunt with some church friends at a local park. It was a great day. The kids really got into finding all the eggs. On Sunday, the Easter Bunny had come to our house over night and left wonderful easter baskets for the kids. Their faces lit up when they saw them. We all went to church, and then to Momacita & Papacita's house for lunch. The Easter Bunny had come there too! Every one then took long naps that afternoon.

Grandma & Papap visit us!

We had a great few days with Grandma & Papap Anderson! We love when they come and visit us from Wv. The weather was great almost the entire time. Infact, Grandma had to buy some more warm weather things to wear while they were here! A few things we did while they were here:

-A walk to feed the ducks
-Went to the park to play
-We all went to the Houston Zoo
-Shawn and Papap cleaned out the garage!

Up and running......

Ok. I jumped on the bandwagon and made a blog. I guess everyone is doing it now a days. I figured why not? This is a great way for friends and family to keep up with what we are doing and see some pictures along the way. Enjoy!
